The Smackdown: Calling The Spots

13 of the dirtiest, nastiest screamcore tracks (possibly) ever made. The Smackdown is the sort of band that comes out of nowhere and creeps into your town in some shitty beat-up van and up opens a show for some totally insincere hardcore band and ends up stealing the show and the band’s girlfriends. The Smackdown is a band that willingly gets in a van and drives it on their own to a gig happily booked by themselves to play to kids that didn’t have to take a bank loan out to pay to get into said show. A band that doesn’t stop to change a string when it breaks and instead throws the instrument down and drops and elbow on it and throws it into the crowd, A kind of band that will in our lifetime die a horrible death and be taken over by the cold hand of insincerity and greed. This band is DIY to the grave. The Smackdown is a hardcore punk band from Luleå, Sweden. Their name is taken from the tv show WWE Friday Night SmackDown, and a major part of their lyrics and performance include references to professional wrestling. The Smackdown was founded in late 2001. They released the album Calling The Spots in February, 2005, on the Canadian label Goodfellow Records.

We Can't Sleep At Night – Dej Še Kazga Zbudte Pa Ga Sabo Vzemte

Band with its origins in 2004 has since then been constantly active both on concerts and in studio. Three piece collective formed by high-tempo drum playing, catchy bass riffs, disoriented guitar parts and vocals that are afraid of being a drag, but are not afraid of being aloud. They enter the musical field through directions set by various post-punk groups in 80’s, but do nothing to hide, that they don’t care if they are blown into pop pathetic, surf carelessness or “crashed to the limit” songs, which bare the closest resemblance to the last hours of new-year’s eve party. We Can’t Sleep At Night are: Gasper Vozelj - Bass guitar, synth, Jure Lavrin - Drums,
Marko Lavrin - Guitar, vocals and lyrics, Primož Vozelj - live sound.

La Casa Fantom: Fredløs

La casa fantom started back in 2000, when two friends - Lars and Bard - start to jamming in the livingroom of their collective outside the city of Oslo. Staying in the forest of oslo, eating from the garbage of the "civilized" society (the band has a track that means "dumbstep diving"), using amps that they found'em among trashes and fixing 'em by themselves i dare to say that these guys have made their own big refusals against modern society normes and capitalist system.
