Loudspeaker Alliance: Continuous Error
"Depending on four things – charm, intelligence, talent and their burning hearts, the three young lands from Slovenian countryside lived a life of beauty and bliss in a small town of Vipava when they decided to form a music group which was to be called Loudspeaker Alliance. It turned out to be a wild mixture of most bewildering music, unspeakable artistry and uncontrollable charm. A true adventure into a realm of music."
"From the happy bunch of Loudspeaker Alliance comes their debut album a few sandwiches short of a picnic, Continuous Error. It's a roller-coaster ride of sensual and wild tunes, unspoken memories in search of truest wisdom. music tailored for your taste."

Nikki Louder: Silent Bird
Formed in summer 2007, Nikki Louder started as loud and endeless sessions. First shows and recordings came in fall of the same year and soon they released their debut, Silent Bird EP.
In october 2008 Nikki Louder joined the eminent alternative club tour, Klubski Maraton organized by Radio Student.
Silent Bird is a 5 track EP that will make your ears bleed while beging for some more. Listen to what Nikki Louder have to say about rock'n roll. Noise excursions backed up with drummer on speed and fat distorted bass riffs, with lyrics, short and sharp, just the way they fit in to music. On their way Nikki Louder flirt with genres like post rock, stoner rock and noise while their sound remains unique and could be best described as sonic rock.
CD was recorded by Hieronim Vilar. Cover design was made by Andrej Venta. The cd can be bought from Cheap Tunes Records' shop.

CZD: Ajajajajajajajaja
The underground music group CZD (Center za dehumanizacijo/Center for Dehumanisation) was founded as a trio in North Eastern Slovenia in 1984. Since its inception CZD has been an important catalyst for the alternative music scene in Slovenia. In two decades CZD has developed its own distinctive variation of punk rock music, characterised by strong lyrics and stage presence. The Center za dehumanizacijo line-up consists of: Dušan Hedl (guitar, vocals), Boštjan Imenšek (guitar, back vocals), Franci Novak (drums), Bojan Tomažič (sampler effects, back vocals) and Silvo Zemljič (bass, back vocals).
The record Ajajajajajajajaja was released in 1995 in Maribor - Front rock (and in 2002 tranferred into digital form), combining punk roots with experimental music patterns. It features the CZD punk'n'roll at its most, very fast, very engaged lyrics. All their albums are recorded at the Studio at the Border.

V.A. - Tutti Pazzi vol. 3
I don't have any particular infromation about this compilation; i think it was realised in the middle of 80'. "Tutti pazzi" in Italian means "Everybody's crazy". On this compilations appear Stres DA (Stres državnega aparata/State's Machine's Stress), Distress, Odpadki civilizacije (Civilization's Waste), Patareni, U.B.R. (abbreviation for Uporniki bez razloga/Rebels Without a Cause), III Kategorija (3th Category), Giuseppe Carabino (I had never heard this one before I've got this compilation).

Via Ofenziva
Slovenian short-lived punk band active in early 80s in former Yugoslavia. Members were: Esad Babačić Car - vocals, Zoran Železnik - guitar, Ivo Frančič - bass, Robert Frič - drums. Lyrics (written by Esad Babačić Car) at Undermuza. It's quite hard to find their music except the 3 songs that appear on the compilation Še pomnite punkerji?, so here you have everything that I've colected so far (I think it's from the self titled CD with a DVD that was realised in 2006).

Bernays Propaganda: Happiness Machines
Macedonian band Bernay's Propaganda (ex-members of FxPxOx) could be shortly described as danceable newwave/post-punk band with charming female vocal. They're an extremely political band influenced by a variety of bands, from Submission Hold over Fugazi all the way to the Gossip and Gang of Four. Firm drum beats accompanied with thick and groovy bass lines are the base upon which layers of funky and broken guitar chords are placed, and above all comes unique, strong and remarkable female voice as a cherry on the top. Bernay's Propaganda is deeply rooted in d.i.y. hard core scene. Happiness Machines is their first (and so far only) record.

2227: Stripcore
After 1986, 2227 sink into self-oblivion because of successive enrolments of the members into Yugoslav National Army. In 1991, Jani and Bozo start anew, and they are joined by Macek (drums; ex-Komakino, before also Buldogi, Niet, and Lublanski Psi). 2227 become an instrumental trio. They perform in Slovenia, Italy, Czechoslovakia, and the Netherlands. Gradually they widen their viewpoints of music: from hard-core roots emerges a creative mixture of most varied approaches and influences. What results is an unusual music collage which perplexes music critics in their attempts to designate - at least provisionally - their music style. Therefore, 2227 simply adopt the name of their cover organisation for the designation of their creativity - the stripcore music. Together with the business manager of Strip Core, Katerina Mirovic, they are finally prepared to embark on their way into show business.
In 1992, Radio Slovenija enables them to record the first three songs. Precisely at that time the band strengthens with a new member - Vuk Krakovic, violinist with a classical musical education (of Belgrade origins), who introduces more subtle tones into the music of the group. Together they record the piece Rolling Stoned. As the result is good, the further co-operation is resolved. The tune Watch-A-Gonna Do? gets the lyrics sung by Macek, while The Big Blues remains a classic instrumental trio. Franci Rainer produces all three pieces.
After hardening with some more concert experiences, 2227 enters the Tivoli Studio to record more material for their first album, produced by Aldo Ivancic (Borghesia). The record already has its title – Stripcore. However, complications with publishers continue deep into 1993; the CD is finally released as a self-edition by Strip Core (Forum). Besides ten newly recorded tunes the CD also brings three songs recorded live at the Novi Rock festival. The band also designs the cover of the record.

2227: No Brains no Tumors
The 2227 group emerges on the very firm Slovene hard core scene of the time: Bozo (guitar; ex-UBR), Jani (bass; ex-Epidemija), Dare Kuhar (drums; ex-Odpadki Civilizacije), and David Krzisnik (vocal). In the spring 1995 they record the material for their second album in the Pan studio in Krajn, engineered by Franci Rainer and produced by Dare Hocevar (ex-Laibach, Sokoli). The elemental hard-core skeleton and rushing bass lines combine with jazz gags, gallows melancholy and odd ethnic rhythms, out-and-out crossed by expressive violin. The title is a logical consequence: No Brains No Tumors. Besides nine original songs and an adaptation of Tom Waits, the CD also brings four documentary recordings by 2227 from 1986.

Otroci socializma: Otroci socializma
Otroci socializma (Children of Socialism) were a Slovenian punk/post-punk band from the golden era of Slovenian punk. As their contemporaries, they faced censorship and dealt with it in creative ways (e.g., they played a gig with plasters over their mouths). When the band changed their only guitarist in 1983, the sound changed in favour of funk beats. After breaking up in 1986 most members continued their music path in other bands.
Their lyrics (in Slovenian) were the band’s forte. They mostly dealt with social issues, discrimination, substance abuse and desperation.
